Longleat Safari Park ....Water supply for "Anne"

We were excited and pleased to be asked to supply a new water supply at Longleat. The Park has constructed a new enclosure to hold "Anne" the rescued elephant.

We drilled and accessed new formations in ground that had not historically been drilled before.

 

The prognosis to access water was not terribly promising but we prevailed by drilling deeper. We accessed sufficient Aquifer to deliver a system that  produced a good free water supply.  Water that was free of chlorine which some animals can have problems consuming.

 

Sand formations were also present so a slot size on the casing pipe of 0.3mm was selected.
